A free apartment from the city government to family with newly born triplets

On the celebration ceremony in honour of firstborns of 2010, which is to take place on January 29 in Ufa Administration the Gabdrakhimov family will receive the keys of a new apartment. This year the family gave birth to triplets - two girls and a boy. According to the research and information department in the Ufa Administration, 28 babies were born to 27 Ufa families on the first day of the new 2010 year.

It was a firstborn in 16 families, a second baby - in eight families, a third one - in one family and a sixth kid in yet another family.

The parents of the newborns mostly having higher and post-secondary education are the workers of the leading city enterprises, banks and state-financed organizations. Some of the mothers are housewives and some are in recess.

A steady tendency for the birth rate growth has been outlined in Ufa over the recent years. 13619 babies were born in 2009, which is 459 babies more than in 2008. Natural population growth was registered in Ufa in the past two years. Ufa takes the first place among the cities with a population of one million or more by this characteristic.

A decline in infant mortality is also registered. Bashinform News Agency quoted the RB Deputy Minister of Health Ralida Shakirova as saying that this rate came to 5.4 in 1000 live newborns in 2009.

A special attention is paid in Ufa to the families with triplets. Starting from 2002, they have been given new apartments. 25 Ufa families have already become owners of their own housing.

The traditional ceremony in honour of firstborns of the new year will take place in the great hall of the Ufa Administration. The Head of the Administration Paul Kachkaev will congratulate the families whose children were born on January 1 and give them commemorative birth certificates, cash aid and presents.
