Condition with spreading of desomorphine remains alarming

The rise of activity of law-enforcement bodies on suppression of drug traffic makes the drug addicts to search for new sources of drugs. As the news-service of the Russian Federal Drug Circulation Control Service in RB reports, the rates of spreading of desomorphine consumption in the Republic cause real anxiety for today. Desomorphine is manufactured of the codeine-containing preparations, found in free distribution by the drugstore networks.

Since 2006 the Republican law-enforcement bodies have revealed more than 1000 facts of desomorphine manufacturing and pushing and more than 450 drug nests, where drug addicts consumed this sort of drug.

According to operative information more than 1,8 thousand desomorphine users are registered in the Republic for today and the majority of them are registered as active drug addicts.
