The final of the 14th European ice speedway championship was solemnly opened in Ufa. The racers from 12 countries took part in the tournament but the representatives of only seven states have managed to reach the finals – Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine, Czechia and Sweden. The Russian team is the only one, all racers of which with no exception really pretend to the championship’s medals and this circumstance guarantees an enthralling sight in the majority of the final’s rounds.
