Surgeons of the Clinical Oncologic Dispensary received "The Golden Scalpel"

Surgical team of the Republic's Clinical Oncologic Dispensary headed by Rashid Badykov became the holder of "The Golden Scalpel", the award of the RB Surgeons' Association. They performed successfully a difficult stomach operation that lasted more than 12 hours.

According to the press-service of the RB Ministry of Health, diplomas were given to the surgeons of the Republic's Cardiologic Dispensary, the Kuvatov Republic's Clinical Hospital and the clinic of the Bashkir State Medical University.

Since 1996 the RB Surgeons' Association headed by Professor Vil Timerbulatov, the corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, has been running contest among surgeons not only for the best operation, but also for the best study and monograph.
