The maximal sum of sick-list payments is 34583 rubles monthly from now

The limitations on sick-list payments are altered beginning fr om January 1, 2010. The news-service of Russian Social Insurance Fund’s regional division reports the amount of a wage, compensated in case of temporary disability will be determined by the maximal sum, which makes 415 thousand rubles per year from now. Under the pensionable service less than 5 years the amount of temporary disability payments for full calendar month will make 60% of an average wage but the maximal payment sum is lim ited with 20750 rubles. If the pensionable service makes 5-8 years the maximal rate of “sick” payments is 27666 rubles (80% of an average wage) and in case the pensionable service is more than 8 years, the maximal payment makes 34583 rubles monthly (100%).
