Journalists are invited to take part in the contest “Lawful Russia”

Registration of the participants of the V all-Russian contest “Lawful Russia” begins and journalist works will be accepted within the frames of the nomination “Mass-media for lawful Russia” till March 12.

Representative of any mass-media may become a participant of the professional competition after sending his works to the address of the steering committee. The journalist works should cover the themes of lawful education for Russian citizens, questions of protection of people’s rights and liberties, openness and availability of lawful information.

The contest works have to be published in the printed and e-editions or broadcasted by radio or TV within the period between January 1 and December 12, 2009.

One has to fill the form and to pass the registration on the site www.garant.ru in order to take part in the competition.

Winners and laureates will be rewarded with honorable diplomas and prizes: notebook for the first place, laptop for the second place and digital photo-camera for the third place.

The results of the contest will be announced at the solemn rewarding ceremony at the end of May, 2010, the news-service of the Russian Lawful Information Association “GARANT” reports.
