Bashkortostan’s drug police liquidated more than 400kg of drugs in 2009

On December 29 the officers of the Federal Drug Circulation Control Service in RB have burnt down more than 50kg of drugs, including 1,5kg of heroine, 10kg of marihuana and more than 15kg of poppy straw, the representative of the news-service of this department Roman Pokotilo reported.

“The overall sum of the criminal profits, obtained from sales of these drugs, might have exceeded two and a half million rubles” – he added.

In total complexity the Federal Drug Circulation Control Service in Bashkortostan has liquidated more than 400kg of drugs in 2009, including more than 300 kg of marihuana, 100g of cocaine, 15kg of heroine plus the synthetic drugs for the sum of more than 10 million rubles.

The liquidated drug substances were the exhibits on more than 500 criminal cases, which the courts have pronounced the verdicts in 2009 on.
