Ufa hosts "Cicero" Public Speaking Competition

Over 60 young people from all over the republic have come to Ufa to take part in "Cicero" Public Speaking Competition. The training program will last three days and include such courses as Effective Self-presentation, Speaking Techniques, Anchor's Skills and Team Building. They will be held by famous Bashkir specialists. For example, the popular TV anchor Nil Distanov will give a lesson in speech skills. Apart from trainings, the speakers to be will participate in different competitions. The winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 23.

We would remind you that the creative contest is aimed at teaching young people rational and effective methods of preparing and delivering speeches, the art of persuasion, the professionalism in advocacy of their position in discussions and at the rise of the general cultural level of their oral speech.

Such topics as "Regional policy", "History of Bashkortostan", Infosecurity" are offered to participants as basic trends of discussion.

The Contest's organizers are the RB Ministry for Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism, Bashkortostan Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
