The project “Child Internet” creates safe internet-space for kids

The today’s news-conference in the news-agency “Bashinform” was devoted to the beginning of the social project “Child Internet”, initiated by the company “UFANET”.

2009 is declared the Year of safe internet in Russian Federation and commercial director of the company Sergey Penkov, PR-director Oleg Karasev, the head of Web-projects dept Igor Samatov and Web-designer Nikolai Berezovsky told how the project worked, how it could be tuned and how the list of authorized sites can be changed.

The project “Child Internet” is a social project for creation of positive content in WWW, formation of comfortable and safe internet-space for kids and creation of ethic and safe internet for inexperienced users.

As PR-director Oleg Karasev said the main principle of the project is not prohibition but the permission of free internet access. For today the project’s catalogue includes more than 4000 sites with different subject-matter and this list is found to the address www.kid,ufanet.ru/catalog. The main task of the project is to provide the control over the visits to these sites by kids because WWW is full of temptations and internet-resources should be used only for the good of children and mustn’t be harmful to child’s mentality and morality.
