Ildus Ilishev: “Youth subject-matter to be continued on the next year too”

“Within the frames of the Year for support and development of youth initiatives in Republic of Bashkortostan we’ve managed to solve as many problems, urgent for youngsters, as never before” – the deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB, Minister of culture and national politics RB Ildus Ilishev said, opening the final meeting of the interdepartmental youth policy commission under Government RB – “ and positive dynamics is observed in solution of the questions, related to job placement and housing”.

At the same time, as Idus Ilishev mentioned, the number of unsolved problems is still high so the youth subject-matter will be continued on the next year too.

The Minister of youth policy, sport and tourism RB Alexander Nikerin said the most actual problems, related to employment, arose among young people first of all. Development of youth business undertakings can be in his opinion one of the forms of job placement. “It is important to cover the youth with different status – beginning with senior pupils and students and finishing with already successful businessmen” – he said – “we reached the decision to open the business schools in our region with the purpose to teach the youngsters the basics of business activity. The education course, offered to them, includes all necessary disciplines: management, marketing, taxation, business undertakings psychology and book-keeping”. According to the Minister 15 business schools are already opened in the region and it should be noted young people begin to offer the business-projects, aimed at production first of all: pig farms, bee-keeping, waste treatment etc. At the same time the number of business projects, offered in sphere of services, becomes fewer.

One more important direction in development of youth policy is supply of young people with housing. Within the frames of the Republican program of state support for young families, whose living conditions need improvement, in 2003-2010 more than 10 thousand young families have received state support: preferential credits, flats on preferential terms, social payments for dwelling acquisition etc.

It was also stated at the meeting solemn closure of the Year for support and development of youth initiatives in RB would take place in Ufa Congress-Hall on December 21.
