A branch of the Federal Otorhinolaryngologic Centre opened in Ufa

Ufa branch of the Scientific and Clinical Otorhinolaryngologic Centre has started its work in the ENT departments of the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital and City Clinical Hospital N21.

According to the director of the branch Adip Mukminov, the branch was opened to make medical assistance more accessible - not only residents of the republic, but also of the neighbouring regions can be treated in the centre. Up to the present moment, such surgical operations used to be made in Moscow and St. Petersburg clinics only.

"Our centre received 11 quotas for making cochlear implantation operations for hearing-impaired children," Adip Mukminov said.
