Today is the mourning day in Russia

President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev declared Monday, December 7, the mourning day for the victims of the tragedy in Perm.

The fire had occurred in one of the night clubs of Perm last Saturday. According to preliminary information violation of elementary safety rules when using the pyrotechniques in closed apartments might become the reason of the ignition. As a result more than 100 people were killed and great number of the club’s guests received numerous burns.

President of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov sent the condolence telegram to the Governor of perm region Oleg Chirkunov in connection with the fire in the Perm’s night club “The Lame Horse”.

“Citizens of Bashkortostan are chocked with the news about the tragic event in the city of Perm – the fire in the night club, having entailed heavy human losses. We present our deep condolences to all citizens of the region and to the relatives of the victims” – said in the telegram of President RB.
