The winners of Legal Professional 2009 Contest have been awarded

The Legal Professional 2009 awarding ceremony has taken place on the eve of Lawyer's Day in Majit Gafuri Academic Drama Theatre. The aim of the contest was to enhance the status and prestige of the profession, to raise professionalism in the legal community and to reveal highly skilled specialists.

The contest is held with the assistance of Ministry of Justice RB. Its organizers are Respect Law Company and the Bashkir Institute of Social Technologies.

The first place and a special prize was given to Julia Tuikina, the leader of ZAO Centre of Law Technologies. Guzel Rezyapova, the lawyer of the RB Chamber of Lawyers, the lecturer of the Law Institute of the Baskir State University took the second place. Aigul Sultanbekova, the director of OOO Maximum Law Bureau shared the third place with Albert Gareev, the lawyer of OOO Ural Law Company.

A whole group of contestants were awarded with special prizes, such as "For good concord of theory and practise", "For convincing presentation of case", "For in-depth theoretical study of the legal framework of anti-bribery laws", "For creative approach in presenting of legal base" and others

Sergey Lavrentiev, the Counsellor of State under the RB President, Rafail Divaev, the Deputy Prime-Minister of the RB Government, Valery Abbasov, the Senior Vice-President of the RB Chamber of Lawyers, Lyutsiya Gumerova, the President of the Constitutional Court, Vasily Gugin, the head of the Main Investigations Directorate and other official persons were present at the awarding ceremony.
