27% of population is vaccinated against seasonal flu out of additional funds in Bashkortostan

Bashkortostan finds its place among those regions where active work on attraction of additional funds for vaccination against influenza is carried out. This was mentioned on the all-Russian telephone conference presided over by Gennady Onischenko, the head of the Federal Supervision Service for Consumer Rights Protection and People Welfare. It was devoted to the course of immunization and implementation of the National Calendar of vaccination and to realization of the priority national project in the sphere of health in 2009.

According to the Directorate of Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights for RB, 1 094 849 people are currently inoculated against seasonal flu, that makes 27% of the republican population. 800 000 of them are vaccinated in the framework of the priority national project and 294 849 are inoculated out of funds of municipal institutions, employers and out of personal funds.
