The second round of My Republic Action has taken place in Meleuz

The second round of My Republic Action has taken place in Meleuz. This event is held within the framework of the Youth Year in the Russian Federation and the Year of support and development of youth leads in Bashkortostan.

More than 250 students and those who are not indifferent to ecology of the city gathered on the Belaya riverside. Students' ecological units of the branch of Moscow State Technology and Management University, Meleuz Mechanical and Technological Vocational School, training college N39, practical training lyceum N42 took an active part in the action.

The city enterprises gave load-carrying transport for disposition of garbage, OOO Ecopoligon provided free of charge waste reception in the municipal solid waste landfill. According to the press-service of Ministry of Ecology RB, the total number of people participating in the action comes to 870. The most active students' units were awarded with prizes.

We remind that My Republic Action took place for the first time in 2006. The number of its participants is constantly growing. Apart from cleaning of territories and improvement of ecological situation, the its aim is to instil in teenagers and young people a sense of responsibility for the state of environment and love of nature.
