Prime-Minister of Government RB Rail Sarbaev has taken part in the work meeting “Development of medical xenon technologies in Russia”, where actual questions on organization and economical efficiency fr om introduction of the inert gas xenon to the everyday practice of Russian health system were under discussion.

Russia is the first country in the world, which officially permitted to use xenon in medical practice. The country possesses the production potential for obtaining medical xenon, the technology for its frequent usage and the equipment for xenon therapy and narcosis. But xenon is used only at two-three medical institutions in Russia. The problems of xenon usage in Bashkortostan were considered at the academician level – within the frames of the medical conferences in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

The xenon anaesthesia will be economically efficient in big cities first of all, such as Ufa and Sterlitamac, wh ere many long-term operations are performed.
