All-Russian charitable action "Touch a child's heart" is starting in Ufa

The all-Russian charitable action "Touch a child's heart" is starting in Ufa. It is aimed at support of children suffering from cardiovascular diseases. Within the framework of the action, children will be able to get free c consultations of specialists. Those who need to be operated on will be given charitable certificates.

The President of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov supported the idea to hold this action in Ufa. According to his order, the Government RB together the All-Russian public organization "National Health League" is to work out the plan of preparation and holding of the action and to provide participation of Ministries and Agencies of the republic in it.

It needs to mention that the organizers of this project are major Russian public organization "National Heath League" and the Scientific Centre of Cardiovascular Surgery n.a. A. Bakulev of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.

The main aim of the action is to raise funding for targeted support of children with congenital heart disease mostly from low-income families.

The action "Touch a child's heart" has been held since 1999. Thousands of children have received free medical consultations over this period, and hundreds of them have been operated on in the Scientific Centre of Cardiovascular Surgery n.a. A. Bakulev. The action was successfully held in Minsk, Kazan, Pskov, Yaroslavl, Moscow, Kaluga. Novosibirsk. Apart from Ufa, the city of Maikop will participate in the action this year.

The results will be announced on December 12.
