Ministry of Ecology has held a campaign against ecological illiteracy with municipalities

Ministry of Ecology of our republic stands for ecological education on all the levels of power. In the framework of the campaign against ecological illiteracy, the Ministry has held a meeting with specialists of city and regional administrations and specialized enterprises. The workshop held together with GUP Tabigat RB was devoted to ecological aspects in the activity of local authorities.

"Russian legislation undergoes a lot of changes, including changes in ecological sphere," Olga Lazdina, the deputy Minister for Nature Management and Ecology RB said, "The President and the Government RB have adopted strategic documents on environmental protection. One should know and apply them."

Many problems were considered for the 8-hour course of study: gaining rights for use of bodies of water and subsurface sites containing common commercial minerals, evaluation procedure of the environmental activity of municipalities, maintenance requirements for refuse dumps of solid domestic waste and others.
