Massage championship will be held in Ufa

On November 6, the Bashkir Medical College will host the first open championship of Bashkortostan among medical massage specialists.

According to the press-service of Ministry of Health RB, the championship is aimed at popularization of massage as integral part of a wide range of medical services, support of talented specialists and promotion of healthy lifestyle.

The championship is held for the first time not only in Bashkortostan, but in the Russian Federation as well.

70 medical massage specialists from cities and regions of the republic took part in the selective round of the championship. 20 winners reached the final. 20 different medical massage techniques applied in spine osteochondrosis treatment will be submitted to approval of the jury and the audience. The jury consisting of 17 specialists will be headed by Professor Yuri Novikov.
