The Day of Republic of Bashkortostan was marked in Istanbul

The representative office RB under the Russian Trade Delegates in Turkish Republic has held the annual arrangement, dedicated to the Day of Republic of Bashkortostan on October 31 in the Istanbul’s Culture Park, where the Museum of history and ethnography of Bashkir nation was opened in June, 2009, during the Days RB in Turkey. Our compatriots – the students from Bashkortostan and Turkish guests have taken part in it.

The director of the representative office RB in Istanbul Kanshaubi Miziev congratulated our compatriots with the 19th anniversary of the State Sovereignty Declaration RB on behalf of the leadership RB and said that for cooperation between Bashkortostan and Turkey was stably growing up for the last years and the trade turnover in 2001-2008 increased 13 times. The investments of Turkey to economics of Bashkortostan make 15% of the overall volume of accumulated foreign investments. In 2009 the representative office RB has held several presentations of Bashkortostan’s investment projects with the leading business circles of Turkey. The Days of culture RB have taken place in Istanbul. The cooperation agreements are signed between the Bashkir State University and the Istanbul’s University and between the Ufa State Academy of Arts and the Istanbul’s Fine Arts University.

Besides, Kanshaubi Miziev told about establishment of the Bashkir-Turkish Friendship Society in Ufa and called al comers to take an active part in activity of this public organization on the territory of Turkey.

The festival was finished with the Bashkir folk art show.
