Influenza and ARVI morbidity rate is below the epidemic threshold in Bashkortostan

Influenza and ARVI (acute respiratory viral infection) morbidity rate is 4.4% below the epidemic threshold in Bashkortostan. According to Directorate of the Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights for RB, 19 082 people, 13 793 children up to 17 years among them, came down with flu over the period from October 19 to October 25. In Ufa the number of people with this diagnosis comes 5 374, 54.8% of them are children aged up to 14 years.

At the same time, preventive vaccination against flu is still going on in the republic. 800 000 doses of influenza vaccine are delivered from the federal budget resources, which makes 100% of the annual volume of delivery.

According to Directorate of the Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights for RB, 763 498 people or 18.8% of the whole population are inoculated against flu by now. Thus, the plan of vaccination against flu within the national project "Health" is 82% fulfilled.
