The 1st All-Russian forum "Russia is a sports state" took place in Kazan

The 1st All-Russian forum "Russia is a sports state" took place in Kazan. The all-Russian workshop meeting of leaders of executive authorities in charge of physical culture in sports "The development strategy of physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation till 2020 and methods of its realization" took place within the framework of the forum.

There were also the following round tables: "Modernization of physical education in the framework of general education", "The state and development prospects of children's and youth sports", "Sports branch is innovative development of economy" and others.

According to the press-service of Ministry for Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism RB, the delegation of Bashkortostan was headed by the head of the Ministry Alexander Nikerin.

13-time paralympic champion Rima Batalova, the chief specialist of the Ministry Artem Timofeev and the chairman of the sports committee of Kirovsky district of Ufa Vener Abzalov participated in the forum.
