Social action "We are of one blood" is starting in Ufa on October 20

A large-scale action "We are of one blood" is starting in Ufa on October 20. The common project of the City Development Fund and Heath department of Ufa administration is aimed at development of donorship in our region. "We are or one blood" campaign will be held in Ufa for the third time.

Volunteers may apply at the following medical facilities: the Republican hemotransfusion station, clinic of the Bashkir State Medical University, Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital.

Individuals in good health over 18 years of age may donate blood. One should observe several rules - not to drink alcohol drinks 48 hours prior to blood donation; it is allowed to donate blood ten days after inoculations; one should not eat sweet, fatty and salty food on the day before and have tea with sugar in the morning of the day of blood donation.

Those who had Hepatitis B and C or who are registered in TB, narcological and dermatovenerologic dispensaries are not admitted to blood donation.

One should have passport with him - passport with the registration on the territory of Bashkortostan is acceptable only at the Republican hemotransfusion station. Other donor centres welcome donors with registration in Ufa.

Every donor will get free invitation to the charity concert "We are of one blood" from the organizers of the project. The concert will take place on November 10 at the City Palace of Culture.
