Young scientists will be awarded wiht prizes in the sphere of science and technology in Ufa

State republican youth awards in the sphere of science and technology for 2008 will be handed on a solemn ceremony in Government House RB, which will take place on October 7.

We remind that these prizes have been awarded since 2003 for the purpose of development of republican scientific potential and encouragement of the most talented young scientists. 12 scientists and 6 teams have become awardees for 6 years.

The interest of young scientists to the award is constantly growing. Thus, 45 scientific papers were submitted in 2007. In the current year, 49 materials are presented for nomination, 17 of them belong to the humanities, 15 papers are devoted to engineering sciences and the rest 17 belong to natural sciences. There are applicants not only from Ufa, but also from Oktyabrsky, Sibai, Birsk and other towns and regions of republic.
