Bashkortostan and Germany are going to develop their collaboration in tourism

Bashkortostan and Germany are going to develop their collaboration in the sphere of tourism. This agreement was reached during the meeting of the leader of the Agency Hessen Agentur under Government of the land Hessen (Germany) Martin Herkstreter and minister for youth policy, sports and tourism RB Alexander Nikerin.

"Germany is interested in development of interregional cooperation with Bashkortostan not only tourism but in other spheres as well" - Martin Herkstreter said - "Such cooperation is especially topical, taking into account dynamic development of the region and its great investment potential".

The guest accepted with gratitude an invitation to take part in the conference devoted to development of inbound tourism to the Russian Federation, which will take place in Ufa in December of this year.

Specialists of the Ufa State Academy of Economics and Tourism also participating in the conversation acquainted guests with the tourism development strategy they are elaborating. The strategy includes formation of tourist infrastructure, introduction of recourse-saving technologies, logistics and work on standardization and certification based on world standards.

"It is noteworthy that the range of the projects specified by Bashkir colleagues is close to the projects elaborated in the land Hessen. Undoubtedly, this will make a reliable base for further fruitful and many-sided collaboration" - Martin Herkstreter emphasized.

In the end of the meeting, the parties agreed about making presentations of tourist and investment projects on the grounds of Russia and Germany.
