World Tourism Day will be celebrated in Ufa

September 27 is the World Tourism Day. The holiday is celebrated almost all over the world. Meetings of tourists, festive events and festivals devoted to tourism and travel industry take place this day.

Ufa tourists will celebrate this day on September 26 in Ivan Yakutov Park, where the republican sports and tourist holiday will be organized for them and for residents of our capital.

According to the Republican youth information centre, every guest will find an activity to his liking. There will be a tourist ground organized for children, where they will be able to display their knowledge and skills in a local history quiz and in different games. Those who like amateur tourist songs will enjoy a concert with participation of singers of "Bard song school" (Ufa) and of the House of children's and youth tourism and excursions.

A motor show will be organized for the fans of touring by car. The unique action for those who are fond of team rafting is also a part of the program: everyone will be able to sail a six-seater raft.

Sports tourism will be represented by competitions and exhibition performances on hiking and water tourism, cycle touring and paintball. Besides, within the framework of the holiday the finish of a cycle marathon RB will take place.

Representatives of the Republican federation of tourism for handicapped people will not be left unattended: a camp will be set up for them. Two exhibitions will also open on the territory of the park. One of them is a photo exhibition of Ufa tourist clubs, the second one is exhibition and sale of tourist and sports equipment of republican major tourist companies.

The opening ceremony of the holiday will take place at 12.00 on the concert ground of the park.
