A literary soiree devoted to creative work of Sergey Aksakov took place in the USAES

A literary soiree devoted to life and creative work of Sergey Aksakov took place yesterday in the gallery "ACADEMIA" of the Ufa state academy of economics and service. The event was organized by the City council of Ufa and administration of the academy within the framework of the International holiday of Sergey Aksakov, which is annually celebrated in the republic.

The literary soiree aimed at popularization of creative work of Sergey Aksakov was at the same time a sort of a competition. Students demonstrated their research works devoted to the writer's creative work, read passages from his books, made stage shows, and the jury was choosing the best of them.

Many of the projects represented during the competition are of practical importance. For example, a quiz after the fairy tale "Scarlet flower", elaborated by Marina Kononova, Diana Yusupova and Ekaterina Maslennikova may be used in comprehensive schools.

"It is the first time that we hold such competition"- the dean of the department of educational and cultural work Natalia Khabibova says - "That is why only students of our academy and a group of students from the Bashkir institute of social technologies participate in it now. But we hope that this event will become a tradition and other educational institutions will take part in it."

The competition's organizers are especially glad at the fact that there was no need to call students for participation in the event, the idea of the competition came from the students themselves.
