Medical scientists from Turkey gave course of lectures to Bashkir doctors

Professors of one of the leading Turkish educational institutions - the Haccettepe University (Ankara) - made a working trip to Bashkortostan. On invitation of the Baskir State Medical University professor Murat Jurdakok and professor Kadrie Jurdakok gave four lectures on the most topical issues of lung disease of newborns, vaccination and eco-social problems in paediatrics. The main listeners were students of paediatric department of the BSMU, doctors of the Republican children's clinical hospital and students fr om Germany who came here on a student exchange program between the BSMU and the Dresden University.

The head of the BSMU department of external affairs Leila Akhmadeeva reported that the BSMU is the only university in Russia collaborating with ICC (Intrenational Children Centre), the executive director of which is professor Kadrie Jurdakok. This visit is the continuation of the collaboration.

The guests visited recreation centre "Tanyp" in Askinsky region, where they negotiated about possible holding of the Congress of the UCENS (the Union of Central Euro-Asian Neonatology Societies) headed by professor Murat Jurdakok on the base of the recreation centre. After getting acquainted with the centre Turkish professors highly appreciated the professionalism of employees and the potential of the health resort.
