In spite of the flood in Istanbul “Turkish Airlines” works in normal mode

Alarming news is going on coming from Istanbul these days. Heaviest rains for the last 80 years flooded several districts in the European part of this largest cultural and trade center in Turkey. World news-agencies report the water level reaches four meters here and there. More than 30 people have become the victims of the flood; dozens of citizens have either suffered or reported missing. Many highways, including the circular road to the international airport “Ataturk” reported flooded too. Does all that mean that the life of the airport came to a standstill?

The regional director of “Turkish Airlines” in Ufa M-r Erkan Indje reports in spite of the wave of the flood the Turkish air carrier works in normal mode. The regular airplane from Istanbul has landed in Ufa airport today. In appointed time the airplane has left the international airport “Ufa” back for Istanbul with full load on board. No changes in work of “Turkish Airlines” are expected, the representatives of “Turkish Airlines” office in Ufa say.
