Marsel Valeev, the head of the General register office at the Ministry of justice RB says that this is caused by the fact that, firstly, September 9 falls on Wednesday and it is rather uncomfortable both for young couples and for their guests and, secondly, such "happy" days are going out of fashion.

- Statistics shows that several couples whose wedding was on 07.07.07 are already divorced, -he says. - A fashionable date is not the guarantee of family happiness. By the way, exactly on September 9 in the registry office of Ordzhonikidzevsky region there will a celebration in honour of a couple living together for 50 years.

Vasily and Lidiya Desyatkins got married 50 years ago sharp - on September 9 in 1959. They decided to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary as an important event.

- When we decided to get married we did not think of any magic dates. Horoscopes, numerals, other superstitions are all nothing, - Lidiya Konstantinovna says. - All that matters in family life is tolerance, industry, and of course, love.
