Kazan welcomes Tatar-Bashkir creative forum

The motor-ship “Uri Gagarin” with the participants of the XVII inter-Republican cultural-enlightener mission “The Trip to Bulgar” on board has arrived in Kazan the day before. The staff of the delegation includes well-known activists of culture and art, pedagogues and students from Bashkortostan’s higher education institutions. The creative teams of the city had organized solemn welcome of the forum’s participants and after that the guests went to see the places of interest in Kazan. The scientific-practical conference, devoted to creative work of the great poet Derdmend, has taken place on board of the motor-ship later, the news-service of Tatarstan’s Ministry of culture reports.

The inter-Republican cultural-enlightener program “The Trip to Bulgar” is held on July 1-8 on the route Ufa-Sergeevka-Nizhnekamsk-Bulgar-Kazan-Elabuga-Ufa. The project is initiated within the frames of the treaty about friendship, cooperation and cultural relations between Republic of Bashkortostan and Republic of Tatarstan.
