Scientific conference in memory of prominent physicist Kamil Valeev has taken place in Ufa

Interregional scientific-technical conference in the memory of doctor of physical-mathematical sciences, Professor Kamil Valeev has taken place at Bashkir State University. The prominent scientist, the author of the Earth lithosphere’s theory of magnetism, the best specialist in physics of solids and magnetism would be 75 this year. Professor Kamil Valeev was occupied with very important and complicated problem in his scientific researches – the magnetism of the Earth’s lithosphere and he was the leader in this new scientific direction. During 33 years he was working at the chair of physics of Bashkir State University as a senior researcher and here he opened the specialty “Physics of solids and magnetism”. Every year 12-15 students receive higher education on this specialty. Kamil Valeev has prepared the text-book on magnet properties of substances, published about 100 scientific works and one monograph. The Academy of sciences RB was once founded in Bashkortostan in many respects thanks to his active positions and scientific convictions.
