Bashkir Choreographic College is in the list of participants of ballet festival by Rudolph Nureev

Graduates and students of the Bashkir Choreographic College by Rudolph Nureev will for the first time take part in festival, named after their famous compatriot. The XV international ballet art festival by Rudolph Nureev started in Ufa on June 21. It will last till the end of this month.

The performance of the College’s students is appointed on June 24. The youngest participants of the festival will play “Spanish Miniatures” by Vian Gomes de Fonsea Herardo and Igor Moiseev. The art director of the festival, national actress of Russia and Bashkortostan Leonora Kuvatova says participation of the Bashkir Choreographic College in Nureev’s festival is quite natural. “The students of the only choreographic college in Bashkortostan are quite worthy of it because the future stars of Bashkir ballet are born here and the best pedagogues in sphere of choreography are concentrated here too” – she said.
