Petitions concerning admission of the books, issued by organization “Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami” and seized in Ufa, the extremist materials, are sent to the court

Republican Public Prosecutor sent the petitions to Ufa Demsky and Kalininsky disrict courts concerning admission of 11 books and brochures, issued by well-known international extremist organization “Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami” the extremist materials. The Office of Public Prosecutor RB reports these editions were discovered and seized in Ufa in the course of the criminal investigation on the record of organization of this party’s cells on the territory RB.

By the verdict of the Supreme Court RF on February 14, 2003, this organization is admitted a terrorist organization and its activity is prohibited on the territory of Russian Federation.
