Local lore conference, dedicated to the 435th anniversary of Ufa fortress, to be held in Ufa on June 7

Scientific local lore conference “No future without past: Ufa – the glance through centuries”, dedicated to the 435th anniversary of Ufa fortress, will be held on June 7 in Ufa Central Library with participation of pedagogues from Ufa secondary school N26 and Russian Islamic University. Young researchers and their tutors – members of Ufa local lore society by Flura Akhmetova will take part in the conference. All pupils, taking part in the conference, are winners of numerous city, Republican and Russian local lore contests.

The conference is held with the purpose to turn pupils to self-dependent research work on investigation of the historical past of Ufa and for preservation of the cultural-historical heritage of Bashkir land. All participants of the conference will be rewarded with memorable diplomas and prizes and the best materials will be included into the sixth volume of the annual local lore anthology.
