New edition of Koran in Bashkir language is published by «KITAP”

New edition of Koran in Bashkir language is issued by the publishing house “KITAP” by Zainab Biisheva and in the nearest future the Holy Muslim Book will appear on the shelves of Republican book shops. The conference in the news-agency “Bashinform” was devoted to this remarkable event and the editor-in-chief of the publishing house “KITAP” Zufar Timerbulatov, Bashkir writer Galim Hisamov and laureate of Salavat Ulaev State Award, well-known scientist Nurmuchamet Suyargulov took part in it. Aup Bibarsov presented Republican Muslim clergy. Koran represents the collection of afflatuses, where the basics of Islam are described. This book has the unprecedented scientific-philosophical essence not just for adherents of Islam but for the whole world culture. Islam is considered one of three great religions. The first translation of Koran had been done at the insistence of Peter the First in 1716.

The first edition of Koran in Bashkir language was published by “BASHKNIGOIZDAT” in 1993. The circulation was just 50 thousand copies that time. At present time this edition represents a bibliographic rarity because all books were sold out in a moment.
