More than 60 musicians will take part in the contest of young piano-players by Vera Timanova

More than 60 musicians will take part in the regional contest of young piano-players by Vera Timanova – this is the result of the preliminary elimination tour. The coordinator of the contest Natalie Kozakova reports the majority of the competitors (about 40) are pupils from music schools of Ufa. Participants from Neftekamsk, Sterlitamac, Kumertau and other Bashkir towns plus piano-players from Orenburg and Udmurtia will be present too. The contest will be held from April 29 to May 3 at Ufa State Academy of Arts by Zagir Ismagilov. Here the great Russian piano-player Vera Timanova had played her first solo concert, being just 10 years old.
