Republican theaters meet “Theatrical Spring-2009”

Republican festival “Theatrical Spring-2009” – the long-expected spring festival with participation of all professional theatrical troupes RB – was opened in Ufa April 8 in Bashkir State Academic Dramatic Theater by M. Gafuri (in 2005 the festival was held in Sterlitamac). The deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB, Minister of culture and national politics RB Ildus Ilishev officially opened the festival.

“The uniqueness of the festival “Theatrical Spring-2009” is that it is for the first time held in the capital of our Republic - Ufa. Besides, “Theatrical Spring-2009” is devoted to the Year on support and development of youthful initiatives in Republic of Bashkortostan and we will pay special attention to our young actors and theatrical activists. Such creative competitions are always considered the key index of theatrical art development in this or that region” – Ildus Ilishev said.

“Theatrical Spring-2009” will last in the capital RB till April 15 and its program includes 17 performances and eight plays of these 17 shows will be demonstrated within the frames of the guest program and the charitable action. Bashkir State Theater of opera and ballet, Bashkir Puppet Show, Sibay State Bashkir Children’s Theater “SULPAN” and students from Ufa State Academy of Arts will demonstrate their works hors concours.
