Bashkir folklore festival “TYLSYMLY MONDAR” gathered about 250 participants in Belebey

Regional Bashkir folklore festival “TYLSYMLY MONDAR” (“Magic Melodies”) is held in the town of Belebey on Friday, March 27. It is organized by Ministry of culture and national politics RB and Republican Folk Art Center within the frames of the Republican program “Bashkortostan Nations” on study, revival and development of folklore traditions.

About 250 people are taking part in the festival, the director of Republican Folk Art Center Belebey division George Khalzov reports – the Bashkir folklore groups and family ensembles from 10 Bashkir regions and from the town of OKTYABRSKY.

The results of the festival will become known today and winners will be announced at the final gala-show in the Central Culture Palace of Belebey.
