Journalists are invited to take part in contest “Patriot of Russia”

The Federal Press and Mass Communications Agency announces the beginning of the VIII all-Russian contest for the best mass-media patriotic education theme coverage. Journalists, authors of online and printed mass-media of any form of property are invited to join the competition.

The contest “Patriot of Russia” is held by the Federal Press and Mass Communications Agency jointly with Russian Ministry of defense, Russian military historical-cultural center with the assistance of Federal Youth Affairs Agency.

The contest is considered one of the key actions of the state program “Patriotic education of citizens RF in 2006-2010” and is included into the list of the main actions on preparation for celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War Victory.

Solemn ceremony of awarding the contest winners will take place in the second half of October in the city-hero Volgograd. More detailed information is available on the site of the Federal Press and Mass Communications Agency: www.fapmc.ru.
