Agrarian Student Games are declared open in Ufa

The IV winter Student Games among students from the institutions in staff of Ministry of agriculture RF was opened with national Bashkir dances and wrestling show today. On behalf of President RB the first deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB, Minister of agriculture RB Shamil Vahitov has taken the floor. He has read out the salutary address of the head of our region.

“The Student Games will become a good test for strength and readiness of the teams for the best results and for some of you the way to Olympic heights will begin here” – said in the salutary address of President RB –“It is remarkable that the Student Games are held in Bashkortostan in the Youth Year in Russia and in the Year for support and development of youthful initiatives in Republic of Bashkortostan”.

The Student Games will last till March 20. More than 1,5 thousand students from 49 agrarian institutes of the country will participate in the Games. The best will be determined in such kinds of sport as winter biathlon, ski races, mini-football, table tennis, chess, powerlifting, judo and armwrestling. More than 300 volunteers from Bashkir State Agrarian University will help to service the competitions.
