Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated educators on Teacher's Day.
As the head of state noted, starting in 2026, the state will enshrine the special status of a teacher. This reflects the high public recognition of the teacher's mission and guarantees both the necessary support and new opportunities for professional growth and development.
"Professional skills competitions play a major role. They not only help to support and recognize strong, talented educators, but also, which is very important, to disseminate interesting, most effective and advanced practices, and work to improve the quality of education as a whole," Vladimir Putin emphasized.
