Control over fuel to be strengthened in Bashkiria

The head of the regional government, Andrey Nazarov, issued this instruction to the Cabinet of Ministers.

In particular, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Economic Development, and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic will strengthen control over fuel supply. The authorities will also optimize maintenance schedules for oil refineries.

"At a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of the country, Alexander Novak, the balance of supply and demand in regional markets, the results of the FAS price analysis, and identified facts of unjustified price inflation were discussed. Work is continuing to conclude standard agreements between regions and independent gas stations," Nazarov commented.

In addition, Nazarov recalled, the Russian government will develop a program for restoring logistics and storage capacities.
