Russian authorities approved goals for digitalization of cultural sector
The Russian government has published an order approving the strategy and goals for the digital transformation of the cultural sphere. According to the document, technological sovereignty must be achieved by 2030, and up to 95% of software must be domestic. The introduction of AI is expected to support the systematization of cultural heritage objects, as well as visual search and object recognition in museum work.
First of all, developers' efforts will be directed toward developing the "GosTech" platform, on which the unified information system "My Culture" and the service "Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of the RF" are based. The former should provide an aggregator of all events, with the ability to book or purchase tickets for the desired event immediately. The latter should function as a unified system of electronic records.
