May will be one of the "lightest" months of the year for residents of the republic.
May 2026 will be rich in rest for the residents of Bashkortostan, and not only thanks to all-Russian holidays. An additional day off will be added to the traditional "May holidays" in honor of the sacred Muslim holiday of Kurban Bayram.
In 2026, Kurban Bayram falls on May 27 (Wednesday). According to the law of the Republic of Bashkortostan "On Holidays and Commemorative Days," this day is officially declared a non-working holiday.
In addition to the religious holiday, two standard blocks of days off await us in May: from May 1 to 3 in honor of Spring and Labor Day, and from May 9 to 11 in honor of Victory Day (Saturday, May 9, is moved to Monday, May 11).
