Khabirov highlighted importance of assisting Russia's new regions

During his address today, the Head of Bashkortostan recalled that the republic has provided fraternal assistance to Russia's new regions.

"In Krasny Luch, a city under our patronage in the Luhansk People's Republic, we have restored 238 residential, social, and infrastructure facilities (worth 4.9 billion rubles) over the past three years. This year, we will restore another 157 facilities. We will definitely continue this work. We must help those who are struggling! And when long-awaited peace comes to the land of fraternal Donbas, we will actively expand our economic and humanitarian cooperation.

 We have always had a strong tradition of mutual assistance. For example, the entire country, including construction workers from Bashkortostan, rebuilt Tashkent from the ruins after the earthquake. The same occurred in Spitak and Leninakan, Armenia.

 It is well known that "there is no other person's misfortune." Regardless of faith or nationality, we were raised precisely like this - we never abandon our own in times of need.

 Bashkortostan was among the first to provide aid to Kursk residents. We sent substantial humanitarian assistance, including food, clothing, and medical supplies. Our children's camps welcomed children from Kursk who had been forced to flee their homes.

 We welcomed children from Belgorod and delivered aid to them. Over the summer, we hosted over 5,000 children from the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics," noted Radiy Khabirov.
