Russian President signed decree on conscription for military training
The national government and regional executive authorities will ensure the implementation of conscription measures and the conduct of the training itself.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an annual decree on conscription of Russian reservists for military training.
"I decree that citizens of the Russian Federation in the reserves will be called up for military training in 2026," the document states.
The training will take place in the Russian Armed Forces, the National Guard, the rescue units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the state security agencies, and the Federal Security Service (FSB).
The decree has already entered into force.
