State Duma has expanded employment quotas for people with disabilities

Starting in March, these quotas are expected to be implemented in all types of separate subdivisions of employers.

Starting March 1, 2026, a law establishing a quota for hiring people with disabilities in all types of separate subdivisions of employers will come into force in Russia. The State Duma announced this.

Previously, this regulation only applied to representative offices and branches. A separate subdivision is a part of a company or institution that operates at a different address and has at least one workstation for more than one month. This could be an office, a warehouse, a meeting room, or another space.
