New rule will be added to Russia's advertising law.

The State Duma has passed a bill in its first reading establishing new requirements for gambling advertising. Agents will be required to accompany advertisements with a warning that participation in the game does not guarantee winnings and may result in financial losses and harm to life and health.

Similar risk messages are proposed for placement on bookmaker and sportsbook websites, as well as at the entrances to betting shops.

Gambling operators will be required to provide access to information on financial literacy and other ways to build and grow wealth.
