Russia to change housing and utilities payment deadlines

The deadline for housing and utility payments will be moved from the 10th to the 15th of the month, TASS reported, citing Sergei Kolunov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Utilities.

The change will take effect on March 1, 2026. According to the initiative's authors, this measure will help avoid late payments and the accrual of penalties.
